    Jasper Sebastian Stürup was born in Copenhagen and lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He studied at The Jutland Academy of Fine Arts, Århus (1991-93) and received his MA from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, Copenhagen in 1999. Sturup’s small-scale zines feature his loose and simple drawings, usually enigmatic and expressive takes on a single theme. Subjects describe a range of emotional associations and act as platforms for the artist’s diverse and ambiguous line drawings. A sketchbook project of sorts, this ongoing series seems to approach and diverge from specificity according to the artist’s whim.
